21 Savage was scheduled to perform at Grammys prior to arrest
American-based British rapper, 21 Savage was scheduled to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards before he was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia, according to reports.
Rolling Stones reports that the rapper, who faces deportation for overstaying his visa, was to perform alongside Post Malone. They were to perform their grammy-nominated hit single, Rockstar.
21 Savage has not currently been granted bond, which would be necessary for him to perform on Sunday.
A rep for the Grammys declined to comment on the appearance.
